About kwn.me

kwn.me is pronounced know me, or kwicken me, kwn.me was crafted by Mikey, Floris, and Christopher, since 2009 we have been shortening URL's for our little userbase. We're a site which is unique in it's code, and also in our users. We serve users via our API (which is under construction) over tweetdeck, and also via many web facing interfaces.

The Engine

kwn.me is not just a URL shortener, but an engine, and through the kwn.me engine we are able to dynamically power other personalised URL shorteners for our friends. Once we start selling premium accounts, we will be using the software as a service model. We do not currently accept new domains without extensive screening, and it's usually from friends/relatives/developers only who we accept into the system for the time being. The kwn.me engine is 100% coded from the ground up simply by three people.

Over time we've grown, changed, developed, and became established. We have stats, soon an API, we have tweetdeck and other remote application support, we have a bookmarklet, as well as all of the excellent dynamic features which makes the site so unique. The future is bright, and holds more great things for this little site. :)
